  • Ashraf Adel bt. Ahmed Khalil:2/1: 11-8, 9-11,11-7
Yasser Sobhi Reporting:

The biggest match so far , a tough test for Khalil as Ashraf is taking 5 points advance as decided by C. Mohamed  Mabrouk . First game Khalil struggled to go level at 8 all for the first time in the game then Ashraf snatches a point to make it 9-8 . Ashraf makes effort to win two consecutive points and bags the first game 11- 8. Second game Ashraf's advantage reduced to 3 points after winning the first game. At 6-4 Ashraf made 3 dives at one rally , pretty much woke the whole crowd up. At 6-6 Khalil replied with an under leg shot dazzling the crowd. This game Khalil is playing the game he knows best controlling the court and making Ashraf do all the work. Leading 8-7 for the first time in the match. But making an unforced error which topples his momentum and Ashraf takes the chance and leads again 9-8. Khalil has his first game ball at 10-9, and he doesn't waste this chance to win the game and go to a final game. Final game Ashraf sailed to an easy 10 3 after a series of throwing away easy shots from Khalil. Khalil fights back and wins 4 consecutive rallies to make it 7-10. Khalil serves and Ashraf returns with a surprising nick shot to end the match and the tournament. Ashraf Adel wins the handicap event.

Ahmed Salah vs Asser Hisham: Take One

  • Ahmed Salah bt. Asser Hisham:3/2: 13-15, 11-8, 11-9, 11-13, 13-11.
Yasser Sobhi Reports:
A lot of expectations for this match they are both in the finals for the U11 Boys final and for the Mixed event final and this how the first match went.
At the first game Asser was in control until 7-4 , till Ahmed makes a surprising comeback out of nowhere to 9-7 to make the game far more interesting. Asser make two stunning points to make it 9-9 , Ahmed had a game ball but lost it to lead the game to a tie break , game balls back and forth but Asser had the better nerves to end it at 15-13. In the second game Asser has got the momentum but Ahmed is fighting back fiercely , this game both go in equal , point by point they are really close point difference doesn't exceed two points the whole game. 7 all and Ahmed makes three points to 10-7. Asser tries to save the game ball 2 times but succeeds only once and Ahmed wins the game 11-8.Third game didn't have the chance to watch the third game but Asser wasted a lot of shots while Ahmed sailed on an easy win for the third game 11-6. Fourth game  Ahmed was less nervous , while Asser started to get tense and lost concentration. 8-7 to Ahmed and started to make really good , confident shots. Asser makes it 9 all and has a game ball but wastes it to go to tie break. But its not over yet when Ahmed starts to get too confident chooses unreasonable shots which leads to 11 all. Asser has a game ball which could lead the match to a final game. All the pressure switches to Ahmed , Asser makes a great shot to end it at 13-11. Final game , its all level.Things try to heat up at 7 all and they both are making a lot of unforced errors, not playing their best squash. But again Ahmed the one with the better nerves to play some good shots to make it 11 8 and wins the first match.
